Question:
Assalam Alikum, I write in regard to my 2 year old daughter. I have noticed a change in her behaviour and wish to recieve some guidance from yourself. Since her birth she has witnessed arguements etc and violent outbursts from her dad and most recently is having to witness the seperation of both parents. She is living with me (her mother) and sees her father when he wants to see her which isn't often, she misses her dad and often asks for him. She gets very upset when he dad leaves when dropping her back off to me. She has started private nursery and lashes out on me often as she doesn't want to come home, she starts to hit me and becomes very upset. Even at night she wakes up distressed alot. I recite Ayat Kursi on her and sometimes she calms down but sometimes not. I was wondering if there is anything you can suggest for me to recite on her to control her behaviour and also to help her deal with her parents separation. Jazak Allah
Answer:
It might be very helpful to her if you and her dad reconcile and live
together, then she will not miss any of her parents. Try your best to live
together, at least for the sake of your baby.
You may ask again if you need any help.
Wassalam.

Question:
Salamun-Alaikum If a person joins the jammat in the starting of the second raka'at then can he recite dua-e-kunoot in his first raka'at (which will be the second raka'at of the jamaat)?
Answer:
Yes he can because Qunoot is Mustahab (recommended) and can be recited in
such case. After reciting Qunoot in his first Rak'at which is the second
Rak'at of the Jama'at, he may recite Qunoot again in his second Rak'at.

Question:
Assalam. My question is that due to board exams i couldnt fast in a month of ramazan. I had strong headaches due to fasting so i couldnt study. So what about those ramzan days...?
Answer:
If you could not fast because of real illness, you need to fast for all the
missed fast days as Qaza, but if you did not fast deliberately, then you
need to pay Kaffara (feeding 60 poor persons for every day) along with the
Qaza for every missed day.

Question:
Assalam. My question is that in the last month of ramazan i shifted to chennai from kashmir for B-Tech so i couldnt fast for the months last 20 days...as it was a new place for me...and totally differnt environment(in a sense harsh) from kashmir...what about my fasting
Answer:
Changing place does not mean not performing your religious duties like
fasting during the month of Ramazan. If you did not fast deliberately, you
must keep Qaza for all the missed days and pay kaffara of feeding 60 poor
persons for every missed day.
If you missed the fast because you were travelling, then just Qaza for all
the missed days is enough.
Wassalam.
