Question:

Salaam My question is related to charitable funds. I work for a non Muslim charity, we collect cash for the charity can this be used for Shia charties as I can avoid telling the company. Also how much can be used as expenses from cash collected for charity

Answer:

Donors have donated for the charity so the donated money must be given to
the charity. If the donors wanted the money to go through the same Charity,
it must go through it, but if they wanted their donation to go to any
charitable work, then it can be given to any other charitable work, but
with out any deviation from the intention of the donors.
If you are an employed person, your employers should give you your salary.
If they told you to take from what you collect, then they should tell you
the percentage which also needs to be approved by the donors.
Wassalam.

Question:

AoA Respected Maulana...I usually hear statements from Urdu speaking people...like Maula Salamat Rakhe....Maula khushiya dai...Maula qabool kare...etc. Please let me know if saying such statements is correct? I dont use such statements but instead I say...May Allah bless u with so and so...Ba-haq-e masoomeen (as). I will be grateful for your early and detailed reply. JazakAllah Khair!

Answer:

Nothing wrong at all in saying that (Maula Salamat Rakhe....Maula khushiya
dai...Maula qabool kare...etc.) in Urdu or any other language.
Beware from the Wahhabi propaganda which claims that saying that is wrong.
They have misunderstood Tawheed and are trying to impose their wrong
thinking on other Muslims.

Question:

Salam dear respected Sayed, Is it permitted for a Shia male to do taqiyah and pretend that he belongs to no Islamic school of thought but is a Muslim in order to get married to a Sunni woman? And inorder to avoid emtional pain/emotional harm because of fearing that the Sunni woman will not want to marry him due to being a Shia Muslim? And the after marriage then he can stop doing taqiyah and tell her that he is a Shia Muslim?

Answer:

Taqiyyah aims to protecting the believer from any expected harm. This case
has many possibilities :
1.If the woman agrees to marry him only because of he is a Sunni. In this
case he is not allowed to show that he is a Sunni when he is in fact not.
2. If the woman agrees to marry for other reasons away from his sect. In
this case he can hide his faith to avoid possible harm.
3. If the family of the woman usually refuses a Shia man to marry their
Sunni daughter, but the woman does not have him being a Sunni as a
condition. In this case he can hide his faith.
In general, I do not advise him to build his life on hiding his faith
because his wife will his life partner and he can not hide his faith from
her for long.

Question:

if there is an ink on our hands which has been dried can we do ghusl or wudhoo?.

Answer:

Yes you can perform Wudhu or Ghusl, because ink is just a color and not a
layer on your hand. Color does not prevent water from reaching but a layer
does prevent.
