If it continues for at least three days, then it is Haydh, but if it stops in less than that, t is he Istihadha.

salaam alaikum I was listening to a speaker on you-tube and he was saying that there are some marajas who have given a fatwa that if the fasts are so long as they are nowadays we can calculate up to 15 or 16 hours from our dawn and than we can break our fast. And similarly we should keep that many hours of fast even if Ramadhan falls in winter. Can we believe this? Thank you
Answer:
This Claim is wrong because it goes against Quran in which the time of
start of fasting is mentioned as Far and end of fasting is start of night.
