Question:

sunni muslims are they kouffar or not And why do the shias insult Omar and abu bakr (r.a).our prophet said if it will be a prophete behind me it Will be Omar ibn khattab

Answer:

1. We believe that Sunnis and all other sects, are Muslims and part and parcel from the Muslim Ummah just like us.

2. We don’t insult any one but just say what Allah (SWT) and the Prophet (SAWA) said about some persons who will change after him and who disobeyed him.

2a. Allah (SWT) has mentioned in Quran many verses blaming many companions who disobeyed during the life if the Prophet (SAWA). See Sura Al-Hujuraat, Al-Ahzaab, Al-Anfaal and Al-Taubah just for examples.

2b.The Prophet (SAWA) has also mentioned that many of his companions will change and go astray after him. Please see in Bukhari Hadeeth number 4259 which states clearly that many of he companions went astray after the Prophet (SAWA).
Also see Hadeeths 6097, 6098, 6099 6526, and 6028 in Bukhari.
The narration which you qouted is not authentic. Leading Sunni Ulama including Ahmad Ibn Hanbal (as in Al-Muntakhab Min Elal Al-Khallaal 9المنتخب من علل الخلال , and Ibn Hibbaan, and Al-Haithasmi and others, have stated that it is fabricated.
