Question:

Salam alakium I have read the following on Sistanis website: One who travels for ten days in a month and sixty days in six months, he is considered a frequent traveler. Therefore, he should offer complete prayers and observe fast. I will begin work in mid or last of April and I will therefore be be travelling to my work 5 times a week. Ramadan will come soon and I would therefore want to know if I should travel 10 times to my work before I can fast or should I only have the intention to travel 10 times and therefore observe my fast. I follow Sistani. Salam Wa salam

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb.
Traveling three days in every week for work has the same rule of praying
full and fasting. Your travelling for work is more than three days per
week, so you must pray full and fast.

He must fulfil his promise to you.
You should remind him to fulfil his promise and give him evidence that real
Islam is the Islam of Ahlul Bayt (AS).
You must be careful that he should not have now and in the future any bad
impact on you or your children.
