Question:

Salaamalaykum Syed. May Allah (SWT) bless and reward you and your family and keep you with Him and His most beloved representatives the Ahlulbayt (as). Syed can you please pray for me because my health has got bad and I have become very depressed. I have had these diseases for a few years and I now feel like I cannot bear life. Growing up I was depressed a lot but had hope life would get better but instead it has become unbearable as these diseases are painful, humiliating and slowly cause my body to waste away. Suicidal thoughts always enter my head and I try to ignore them but can you please pray for my good health to return and these diseases to go away. Many Duas and Thanks.

Answer:

There are few clear facts which I request you to consider and keep
remembering:
First fact: Life in this world Must have difficulties and tests and no one
what so ever from the prophets and Infallible Imams till the lay persons
can live a life with out difficulties. Every one should deal with his
difficulties as part and parcel of this life.
Second fact: What ever suffering you may have, there are millions of people
who have much more sufferings, so, thank Allah (SWT) for His bounties on
you.
Third fact: What ever suffering you may feel, the mercy of Allah (SWT) is
much bigger than all your sufferings, so, trust His mercy and seek His help
always.
Keep reciting Quran as it is Shifaa' and Salawaat and Etighfaar.

Question:

Salam. Please help me understand with this: The Holy Prophet (S) said: “I have been commanded by Allah to warn my people and say, ‘Do not go from one mosque to another while someones rights are upon you. If such a person stands up for prayers in that condition, I send my curses upon him till he restores the rights to its owner.” (Iddat’ud-Dai page 236)

Answer:

It means that worshipping Allah (SWT) must be with out usurping the rights of others, as the usurper of the right of others is cursed by Allah (SWT), and he should not think that just worshipping Allah (SWT) will justify his major sin of usurping the rights of others.

Question:

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu If I will combine the salat-Maghrib and salat-Isha, can I perform this before I sleep? Or Maghrib should perform after sunset all the time? Sukran and wassalam.

Answer:

Prayers should be performed immediately after its time starts , so after complete sunset ( Maghrib), you may pray the Maghrib Prayer, then perform the Nawaafil and the Du'a and Tasbeeh Fatima and other recitations, then pray the Isha Prayer, and never delay it till midnight, because it will a sinful act to deliberately delay performing Maghrib and Isha till midnight.

Answer:

Breaking the fast because of illness does not need more than Qaza fast. Kaffara is obligatory along with Qaza fast when the fast was deliberately broken. Kaffara is feeding sixty poor persons whether orphans or elderly, no matter, as far as they are poor.
