Question:
Salam. What are the conditions of performing Taqiyah??? Under what circumstances is it not allowed??? Does it ever become compulsory or is it always optional???
Answer:
Taqiyyah is always compulsory and never optional. The Hadeeth from Imam
Jafar al-Sadiq (AS) says: Taqiyyah is my religion and the religion of my
fathers. He who does not apply Taqiyyah has no religion.
There is no Taquyyah to commit killing an innocent.

Question:
Asslam-o-Alikum, If a christian touches food with wet hand ,can we eat it. Can we eat wet food (gravy)with him in the same plate. can we drink the water in the same glass?
Answer:
It depends on your Taqleed, so, if you do Taqleed of Ayatullah Sistani, he
says the Christians are not Najis, although he recommends avoiding them as
a recommended precaution. Most of our Ulama say that Ahl e Kitab are not
Taahir so you must avoid eating any food which was touched by them with
wetness.

Question:
I am sub-inspector in Pakistan. In my country, every police man from constable to Sub-inspector are compelled to accept bribe for running the official work.If they dont take money from the people then they have to pay from their pockets to run the official work otherwise they will have to loose?leave his job. What you say in this situation, to what extent they can accept money/bribe or leave his job
Answer:
Taking bribe is a major sin in Islam. Leave such job which forces you to
take bribe, or refer to your Majaalis' of Taqleed and explain the whole
situation for him.
