Question:

Asa If I live in a. Hindu country n if I get dry food like khakhra, toast, roti and etc In Sealed manufactured packaging, can I eat or do I have to enquire on who made it n if it is hand or machine made. Thanks

Answer:

Najis food remains Najis even if it was packed, and Taahir food remains
Taahir as far as no evidence that it became Najis. If the food,
whether packed or non packed, has no evidence up to what you know, that it
was touched with wetness by a Mushrik, then it is Taahir. If you know that
it was touched with wetness by a Mushrik, then it is Najis and it is Haraam
to consume Najis food.
