Question:

Aslam-O-Alaikum, I heard a Sunni Molvi. He said that after Fajr salat till sunrise, and after Asr, till sunset, Sajda is not allowed. I do Sajda-e- Shukar after each Salat. Can I do Sajda-e-Shukar after Fajr and Asr salaat? Syed Manzoor H. Jaffery WhatsApp 201-679-5745 USA.

Answer:

Sajda is always very good. What the person claimed that Sajda is not allowed after Fajr Prayer or after Air Prayer is not right.
It is recommended to perform Sajda whenever we remember a bounty from Allah (SWT) on us or remember a wrong which we committed or see or think about the greatness of Allah, or seeking from Allah (SWT) or for any other reason. There is no time limitation or restrictions in Sajda.

Question:

If i have been doing my ghusl wrong like not making sure water reached my underarms. Have all my past prayers and good deeds gone to waste ? I do islamic calligraphy also will I get no rewards for it ?

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb
If you are sure that you did not make the water reach to every part of
your body, then the Ghusl is invalid. Even if you did not know that it
was invalid.

You need to re-do all the obligatories like Salaah, fasting etc which
you did without a valid Ghusl. The reward for your previous deeds will
never be wasted by Allah SWT, but you must re-do your obligatory prayers and fasting etc as it was being
done without valid Ghusl. You can perform the Qadha gradually.
