Question:

Salamun alaikum.. Is it permissible for a man to abandon his first wife and child, not send any money to bring the kid up, not fulfil any responsibilities as he is still married to the first wife and not even give her a talaq. Whilst this he gets married again in a different country. Will this second marriage be accepted in Islam? Is this second marriage not zina ? As per shariat a man can have multiple wives if he keeps them all at equal level. He cannot abandon one and marry another. Is his second marriage then accapeted ? Please do let me know. Thank you ! Mohtaj-e-dua.

Answer:

It is Haraam to abandon his wife and not give her rights.

Question:

Assalamualaikum, It is said not to visit graveyards from 1st Muharram to 20th safar ? Is it correct ? If yes why shall we not visit in these days? Also we will be ask to offer fateha on our marhoomeens until Chehlum? Please answer Moolana i will be grateful to you.

Answer:

The claim of not visiting grave yards between first muharram till 20 of
Safar is baseless. We don't have such teaching at all in our books. It
might be a matter of culture in some places but it has no support in any
Hadeeth.
It is recommended to visit the graves of our parents, relatives, friends
and Momineen any time.
