Question:

Alsalam Alaykom Sayed. I am asking on behalf of my relative regarding an abortion they did 20 years ago. She wants to know what the kaffara is and to whom it should be paid in order for her repentance to be accepted. When she noticed her period did not come on the expected day, she did a pregnancy test and found out she was pregnant and immediately within the same week (so maybe a maximum of 10 days after her expected period date) she had the abortion. Her husband agreed to it. She says she chose to do the abortion because she already had 2 children and moved to a new country and was under much stress from her marriage. She felt she could not handle the responsibility and she did not know it was haram to abort. Please give the opinion of Marji Sayed Sadiq Hussaini Al-Shirazi, and also Al-Sistani if it differs. JazakAllah Kheyr.

Answer:

Abortion is a major sin because it is a crime of killing a human being in his early stage of formation. Sincere repentance and continuous Istighfaar is must, and Diyyah must be given to the relatives who inherit the child except those who took part in killing him. In your case mother and father who took part are deprived from the inheritance and remaining relatives like grand father, grand mother, brothers and sisters should take the Diyyah. As the abortion took place in the first 40 days, the amount of the Diyyah is 20 golden Dinars ( 3.5 grams of pure gold is every Dinar of gold). The total is 70 grams of pure gold or it's today's market value.

Answer:

We Muslims are not allowed to eat Najis food. If the food which was touched
with wetness by a non Muslim (specifically a polytheist who worships other
with God) . If the food offered to you by non Muslim was not touched with
wetness by them at all like any food which is prepared usually with out
being touched with wetness, then it is allowed to eat it because it is not
Najis, but if it was been touched with wetness by them, then it became
Najis, and there is no way to eat Najis food whether offered by a Muslim or

Question:

Many people say writing Inshallah in one word is wrong as it means Create Allah. They say Inshallah should be written as In sha Allah which means If Allah wills. How true is that? What is the right way of writing Inshallah? pls explain in detail. Wassalaam.

Answer:

> All the forms mentioned in your question are right, because
> the meaning intended is the same which is (If Allah wills) or (If Allah
> wants) or or (If Allah permits) or (God willing).

If you write it in Arabic it is =C5=E4 =D4=C7=C1 =C7=E1=E1=E5

But in English or any other language, there is no specific spelling and
every one can write what he means the same meaning.
