Question:

Asalam U Alikum, I have a question. I know I cannot do Wazzu if I have a nail color/nail polish on my nails. But I found this new nail polish which claims that it is breathable And allows water and oxygen to pass through thanks to its special ingredient – a highly advanced polymer. The product helps keep the nails in the best condition while wearing nail enamel. Does NOT contain toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) or camphor. Below is the link for your reference. https://www.inglotusa.com/o2m-breathable-nail-enamel Please let me know if I can do Wadhu if I have the nail color on.

Answer:

It still stops water from reaching to the whole nail. You must remove it
before Wuzu or Ghusl.

Question:

Salaam Alaikum Sayyid, I trust you are doing well inshallah, by the grace of Allah (swt). I am scheduled to go for Hajj from North America inshallah this year, and since I will be travelling first through East Africa, I need to take Yellow Fever vaccine which is mandatory, to enter Saudi Arabia. http://www.saudiembassy.net/services/Hajj_and_Umrah_Health_Requirements.aspx I am told that this Yellow Fever vaccine contains gelatin, and it may be from animal sources (possibly even from Pork). Is it permissible to take this vaccination? If not, how do I deal with this problem, since they will not allow me to enter the country without it. Hoping to hear from you soon. Thank you. Wassalam, Mohamed

Answer:

If it is in the form of injection, it is allowed to take it even if it
contains animal gelatine. If it is to be taken orally, then you should find
an alternative as much as you can.

Question:

Salam Aga, we are working in Saudi and go for umrah every year during Idd Al-Fitr holidays. We heard through some people that performing Umrae Mufrida during Shawwal makes Hajj obligatory for that year. Is this true ? If so, how can we perform umrah. Please advise

Answer:

If you have already performed your obligatory Hajj, then you can go for
Umra any time, but if you did not perform you obligatory Hajj yet, and you
could reach to Makkah during Shawwal, Thil Qa'da or Thil Hijjah, then you
must perfrom Hajj.
