Yes, Iddah is must if sexual intercourse took place even with
contraceptives.

Should we stop the majlis when the namaaz or Azan is going on ? Recently, there was a conference held by Sunni Muslim on ahlulbayt, where they said that doing Matam was restricted by imam zainul abideen they had 8 books written by imam. I forgot its reference. So please let me know or please give a reference from our imam Hadith that Matam is jayaz. Thank you. Wassalam
Answer:
Matam is an expression of noble feelings of sadness on the tragedies which
took place on the Prophet's Progeny. It is not only jaez but recommended to
mourn the tragedies of Ahlul Bayt (AS).
During namaz time, it is recommended to perform Namaz on its time with out
any delay. After performing Namaz on time, we may continue Matam.
All the Infallible Imams practiced and organized Majalis of Imam Husain
(AS) and encouraged the believers to attend it.
