Question:

Assalawalienkum, Sir I have been married a month ago ... My wife told me that she is involved with some man before marriage ..... Main point is that her father gave her nikah to me . she is not present at the time of nikah .. 1. Is my nikah valid. 2. if she have done zinah before marriage is it important to perform nikah again with her presence .. Or her verbal acceptance to his father will work. 3. Does kiss also comes under zinah. Please tell me know fast. I dont know what to do next.

Answer:

1. Yes, your Nikah with her is valid and there no need for her presence as
far as she was agreeable and her father or any one else was there on her
bahalf.
2. No need to perform Nikah again as she is already your wife. Such sin
does not harm .
3. Kiss to non Mahram is a sinful act but it is not Zina at all.
It was wrong from your wife to tell you about her previous sins, because
she needs only to seek forgiveness from Allah. You also must not mention
what she has told you to any one including your parents and close
relatives. Seek forgiveness for her and for yourself and all Mo'mineen .

Question:

What is the difference between Najasat and Jananah? Can they spade through dry objects?

Answer:

Najasat is any Najis item like blood, urine, feaces, liquor, semen, dog,
pig, dead body etc
Janabat is a state of impurity caused by sexual act either sexual
intercourse or ejaculation even during sleep ( Ehtilaam or night
discharge). Janabat needs Ghusl of Janabat to remove it, while Najasat need
just water to clean its effect on other items.
Dry objects will not be Najis just by touching Najasat, because Najasat
needs wetness to be transferred.
