Question:

Salam sayyid, I am currently in a situation where the guy I want to marry is unable to marry me due to certain circumstances, my parents are happy with the prospect of me marrying him - in the interim can I conduct a mutah nikah to become his temp wife?

Answer:

Virgin girl needs the approval of her father or paternal grand father for
her marriage whether permanent or temporary marriage. Even if your father
agrees on Mut'ah , my advice to you that you should not go for sexual
intercourse before having permanent marriage.

Question:

Salam, My question is with regards to Istekhara. I recently did an istekhara for a personal matter and used the method which entailed using a thasbeeh. The method I used was to make the intention to pursue the goal, recite salawat 3 times and then randomly holding the thasbeeh and passing through two beads at a time. If the thasbeeh ended with two beads left, then this meant that it was not recommended, however if one bead remained then it was recommended. The result at this point came back as a negative. The following day, I met a scholar near the shrine of Imam Hussain as who advised me that istekhara is best done using the holy quran. He helped me perform the istekhara the 2nd time and this time the istekhara returned as strongly recommended. My question is, should I go by the first result which was done in a simpler way and came back as negative or would the 2nd istekhara carry more weight given the use of the holy quran which came out positive? Thank you, Zee Shah

Answer:

You may act upon the first Istikhara and not the second one, as there is no
meaning for the second Istikhara after you have already taken the first one.
It is not right to say that Quran Istikhara is the best, because only
those who understand the meanings of the Quranic verses can see Quranic
Istikhara, and they are not too many. Tasbeeh Istikhara is more suitable
for most of people including Shaikhs who might not be able to understand
the meaning of many Quranic verses.

Answer:

After performing your Prayer (Salat), and reciting Tasbeeh of Fatima (AS),
you perform Sojood and say during Sojood (Shokran Lillah) 40 times or 70
times, then raise you head and put your both hands on the place of Sojood ,
then on your face and then on the paining parts in your body.
This is narrated in Hadeeths as a very useful way for remey.
Keep on repeating (WA ITHA MARIDHTU FAHOWA YASHFEEN)
and also ( YA WALIYYAL 'AFIYAH NAS'ALOKAL 'AFIYAH).

Question:

Salaam Syed, Please help me I am in great worry in my life, I am a follower and great lover of Ahul Bayt. My wife is Sunni, I am coming closer to bringing her to the real Islam can you tell me where is sunni books where it is written to pray with our arms on the side. Salaam Syed.

Answer:

Salamun Alaykum wr wb
There is no even one authentic Hadeeth among in Sunni books claiming that
the Prophet Mohammad (SAWA) had folded his hands in the Salat. The only
Hadeeth which is narrated during the time of Umar government, from Sahl Ibn
Sa'd says that (People were been ordered to fold their hands) which is
clear that the order was from the government of Umar after he liked this
after meeting the prisoners who were brought from Persia. Folding hands is
a habit of Zoroastrians and Yahood in their worship.

Ibn Abi Shaibah was the teacher of Bukhari and he has stated in his book
(AlMusannaf) that many of Sahaba and who followed them did not fold their
hands during Salat like Abdullah Ibn Zubair and Sa'eed Ibn Al Musayyab,
Sa'eed Ibn Jubair and alHasan alBasri and Ibraheem. Al Layth Ibn Sa'd and
Ibn Seereen were also praying with open hands.(Al-Nawawi , Al Majmoo'
(3:311).
The Maliki sect denied folding hands in obligatory Salat (Al-Modawwana
al-Kubra 1:76) , Bidayatul Mujtahid by Ibn Roshd 1:136 ,
Allayth Ibn Sa'd says that it is recommended to open hands during Salat
(Fath al-Baari Fi Sharh Saheeh Al-Bukhari 1:266.
