Salamun Alaikum I have completed my MBBS at Government College and then they give one year period for training at Government Hospital in which they pay us Around 10,700 Rupees per Month. It is called Internship. In this Internship, I have not gone to Hospital many times at which I have been called to attend. This things are common among Interns to not go there every time they called. But at the end of year, Head of the Hospital signed our certificate that they have completed their internship. And this is routine in this Internships that eventhough we have many leaves, they signed our certificate. My question is that Can I use Salary of this Government if I have not gone there at many instances?
Answer:
It is not good for a Muslim to deliberately fail to fulfil the conditions
which he is bound to fulfil.
Money from the Indian government id Majhool al-Maalik. You can give part of
it to the poor and needy and use the rest in lawful way.

ASAK, I am working in a company which primarily hired me for taking care of their logistics. Then I was given additional responsibilites as and when applicable. Now there are a certian times when I have to make purchase locally for the company, and almost everybody who does local purchase have their own profits added before proposing the articles to the boss. The boss is obviously aware of this. Once the boss approves we buy the articles and the extra amount charged goes into the pocket of the purchaser. Can I do the same, will this be legal, as I do not want Haram income for me or my family. I am a muqallid of A. Sistani. Jazakallah
Answer:
If you buy any item on behalf and for the company which employ you, you are
not allowed to add on the real price of purchase, unless you get a clear
agreement of the owner of the company to take more than the real purchase
price.

Answer:
If the gifts or money remained unused for one year, Khums will be
applicable on it.

Salaam. I just wanted to ask is on the 15th of July after maghrib is it okay to recite nikah as on the calendar it is saying the scorpion is on this date? Many thanks
Answer:
When moon is under scorpion, the Aqd of marriage is Makrouh (Disliked). On
15 of July 2016, moon will be under scorpion according to the Husaini
Jantri.
