Question:

Asalaam Ulaykum, I hope you are well this morning. I came across your website and was hoping for some help. A very good friend of mine who is a Christian man asked for my hand in marriage, which after speaking to my family and gaining their acceptance I happily agreed to. Subsequently my father has changed his mind and is now apposed to this marriage unless I can find an Imam who can advise him that his is permissible in Islam. Is this something you could help me with? Even any resources you could point me towards would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks for your help in advance. Kind regards, Miss Hanna Khan

Answer:

Muslim female is not allowed to marry a non Muslim man unless he really
becomes a Muslim then marriage will be permissible.
You should do whatever you can to make this man understand Islam and become
a Muslim. There is no other way.
Wassalam.

Question:

Salaamun Allaikum Respected Syed, Hope you are fine. I pray to The Almighty to bless you with long life and good health. By the Grace of Almighty I earn considerably well and have savings almost close to what is been charged for Hajj this year. I may have to take a small loan to meet the Hajj expenses but will be easily be able to repay it soon after Hajj as I am expecting annual bonus from my company in August 2023. I had taken a personal loan from a bank few years back and I have been paying my installments (EMIs) to the bank regularly as per schedule. I still have few installments remaining, but even after my Hajj expenses I will Inshallah be able to continue paying the remaining installments on time as per schedule. My question is, considering the things narrated above, if Inshllah I get the Grace for performing Hajj this year, will my Hajj be considered as obligatory Hajj. May Imame Zaman (atfs) grace you with his Nazre Inayat. I am Muqallid of Ayt Syed Sistani (d.z.). Thank you Wsalaam

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb

Salam. According to ayotallah sistani. If I know an area is najis, but I’m not exactly sure what parts of the area. Do I have to avoid all the parts or just the parts I think most likely are najis. Because it’s really stressful to avoid all of the parts and it’s not possible to purify those areas with water.

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb
We should avoid any area which we have an evidence that it is Najis.

Question ID 5907 - 2023-04-24 12:04:05

Question:

Salam syed, I know the mutanajis affect only happens when the ayn najis is no longer there. —- so if there is urine mixed with water on a toilet seat and I rub the seat dry with some tissue and then wait 10 minutes. Can I now say the ayn najis is no longer present because i dried it and now no colour or smell of the urine is there?

Answer:

Removing Ayn Nijasat does not mean that the item has become Taahir.
Removing Ayn Nijasat is must in making the item Taahir by water. Rubbing
the Mutanajjis item does not make Taahir. It must be washed with water to
make it Taahir. Mutanajjis item transfers Nijasat to other items by
touching it with wetness. Second Mutanajjis also transfers Nijasat by
touching other item with wetness. Third Mutanajjis does not transfer
Nijasat to a fourth item.
Wassalam.
