Salam alaykum agha I want to know weather gelatin is haram? If yes, then are ALL types of gelatin haram?

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb
It depends on the source of the gelatine. Vegetable gelatine is Allowed. Animal gelatine depends on the animal whether it is Halal or not. Gelatine derived from Halal animal is Halal and gelatines derived from non Halal animal is not allowed.

Aoa If a woman is taking medication that elongates her menstural cycle to over 10 days but here usual cycle is 7 or 8 days what should she do in this occasion? Days 8-10 are istihaza blood so should she perform Ghusl and follow rules for istihaza on day 8? Or should she wait until day 10 and then perform Ghusl? Is there any qadha salat to be fulfilled?

Answer:

If her usual period is seven or eight days, then any days more than these days will be Istihaza where Namaz is compulsory along with Wudhu or Ghusl depending on the type of Istihaza.
If she missed Namaz during Istihaza, Qadha is obligatory.

Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Rahim, Salam Alaykum, Please note that i bought a leather belt which as per the salesman it is a cow leather but made in India. He assure me that it is 100% cow leather but only thing is made in India and the salesman is Muslim. I want to know whether i can pray Namaz wearing this belt. Thanks Shukran Jazak Allah iltmase dua

Answer:

If the cow was slaughtered according to Islamic Shariat, then the leather is Taahir and you can wear it during Namaz. If it was killed or slaughtered with out the Islamic rules, then the leather is Najis and you can not wear it during Namaz.

Salam Alakium If a person says he has doubt about Allah (SWT) shall he then be regarded as tahir? He is really confusing because he says he is muslim but has a lot of doubt. He was one day joking about that sometimes he believes and sometimes not. Wa salam

Answer:

Doubts can come to many Muslims but they remain Muslims unless they clearly deny the Faith in Allah.
Such person needs to be guided and helped to get out of the doubts. Help him to meet good scholars or gift him useful books.

Salam alakium I am a law student in a Europe. I would like to know if it is permissible to work as a student assistant in a law firm? My job consist in improving litigation, preparation of notes and preform case processing and legal investigation. What about when I become a lawyer, is it then permissible to take the cases of my clients and try win them? I have read the following the website of Sayyed Sistani (May Allah prolong his life): Question: Is it permissible for a holder of a law degree to become a lawyer in a non-Muslim country upholding the laws of that country, and taking cases of non-Muslims since his purpose is to attract cases irrespective of their nature? Answer: If it does not involve violation of a right or lying or other forbidden acts, there is no problem in it. What constitute in a violation of right is really hard to determine if you are not an sharia expert? Wa salam.

If your legal work whether as a trainee or lawyer etc does not involve violation of a rights of innocent people or lying or other forbidden acts, there is no problem in it.
