Salam, I follow Ayatollah Sistani. I was wondering about the marriage contract condition of having a serious intention. Does the serious intention need to be present for both the offer and acceptance or just one of them for the contract to be valid?
Answer:
Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb
When both of them agree for marriage, and recite the Nikah directly or
through some one on their behalf, that is enough along with other
conditions. Serious intention does not mean more than willingness and
accepting the marriage. It should be recited in joking or for laughing with
out intention of marriage.

Salaam Is it possible for a man to get pre cum/pre ejaculatory discharge following a dream. Some mornings when I wake up I have clear pre cum type discharge. Because I had OCD I worry about it even though I’m quite sure there’s been no ejaculation or semen I still begin to have doubts. Should I still continue to treat this clear discharge as tahir?

The pregnancy was terminated due to the health of the mother as she suffers from rupture of placenta and hemmorhage after childbirth she was not well enough to go through another pregnancy. Abortion is a major sin unless it was done to save the life of the mother.
Abortion has a killing penalty called Diyah =D8=AF=D9=8A=D8=A9 which must b=
e given to the
persons who inherit the aborted embryo who were not involved in the
abortion. The amount of Diyah is just like any amount of inheritance.
The amount of Diyah depends on the age of the embryo. There are different
opinions in this matter that is why I advise you to write directly to your
Marja=E2=80=99 of Taqleed with exact age of the aborted embryo so that you =
can get
the reply directly from the Marja=E2=80=99 of Taqleed.
