Question:

is it necessary to wipe the anus with hand whilst washing away the najasat to make it pak or just using water pressure is enough?

Answer:

It is obligatory to remove the Nijasat then wash the Najis area. Wiping
makes you sure that the Nijasat has been totally removed. If you are sure
that the Nijasat has been totally removed then it is enough to wash the
area with water.

Question ID 4899 - 2019-08-11 20:53:57

Question:

Salam alakium I saw a wet dog walking up the stairs in the building I live in. When I entered the building my shoes were wet and therefore I assume that my shoes became najis since the dog walked there. Is that correct? Once a week a cleaner come and clean the stairs. He just mob the floor with water and I am therefore afraid that all the stairs are najis? How do I clean my shoe from najasa? I read the following: Ruling 177. Earth purifies the sole of one’s foot or shoe on four conditions: 1. the earth is pure; 2. the earth is dry; 3. based on obligatory precaution, the impurity has come onto the sole of one’s foot or shoe from the earth; 4. an intrinsic impurity – such as blood and urine – or an object that has become impure – such as mud that has become impure and is on the sole of one’s foot or shoe – is removed by walking or by rubbing the foot on earth; and in the event that the intrinsic impurity had previously been removed, then based on obligatory precaution the sole of one’s foot or shoe does not become pure by walking or by rubbing the foot on earth. Furthermore, the earth must be of soil, stone, brick, or something similar; therefore, walking on a rug, ḥaṣīr, and on grass does not purify the impure sole of one’s foot or shoe.

Answer:

The stairs are not Najis because you did not see the legs of the dog wet.
