Salam. There are reports that Eid-ul-Fitr start in middles east like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia today (August 8, 2013). There are also reports on http://www.crescentwatch.org/cgi-bin/cw.cgi that the moon in not sighted on this regions yesterday August 7, 2013). When will be the exact date of Eid-ul-Fitr in part of Asia especially in the Philippines... Please help. Sukran.

Answer:

Moon can be sighted on Thursday evening which means that Eid will be then on Friday Insha Allah.

Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullah. Greetings to you sir. My first question is; what is the stance of our ulama on 'Sitta Shawwal' fasting? Does it have any basis? Should we observe it? Second question: Please where can I get a full information on salaah. Thanks.

Answer:

1. It is not good to fast immediately after the day of Eid, because there
are authentic Hadeeths forbidding fasting the first three days of Shawwaal.
Even many Sunni scholars object on the narration of the fasting of first
six days of Shawaal after Eid.
We do not have any authentic Hadeeths suggesting fasting six days
immediately after Eidul Fitr.

Salaamun alaykum Inshallah you are well I am a Muqallid of Agha Sistani. I just started my new job in Lebanon I started my Fasting On 10th July according to Lebanon sighting of the moon. Now i have come to do Eid with my parents here in UK which is my Home town...Today will be my 31st fast. Do i celebrate Eid on Friday 9th August? Please I need your advise With Regards

Eid is according to sighting of moon where you are now.

ASA, Is it true that the ahleibait used to not celebrate eid ul fitr n eid ul adha. As people says theres lots of hadith proving it. If this is incorrect please refer to hadith, where it showed they used to celebrate Eid. Thank you, eid mubarak. Bushra Vakil

Ahlul Bayt (AS) and their followers celebrated Eid, but in the proper way of=
Eid and not as many ignorants celebrate.
Namaz Eid, wearing clean clothes, meeting relatives, feeding others are hig=
hly recommended.

aslm! few days back in my dream i saw some ladies wearing black Abaa reciting ziarath at my birth place home .then one lady came towards me wearing Abaa she asked me to distribute tabaruk n she said it was kept next to fridge .when i took the tabaruk i saw some olives kept .when i was going to distribute tabaruk i saw my husband in front of me so i asked him tp take tabaruk but then i forgot what happened please tell me the meaning of the dream
